Born in Homestead, Florida in 1977, and raised in Boston, Massachusetts, Nathaniel began writing poetry and short stories at the age of sixteen. Originally a poem, Revelation: Creatures Rule the Night became a short story for a high school English class. Remnants of this short story would eventually become part of Professor Alter's dialogue in Chapter One of the current novel.
Although winning a few writing contests and having two poems published in high school, it wasn’t until college that Nathaniel's writing began to take a more professional shape and approach. In 1995, he attended Roger Williams University in Rhode Island, studying History and Politics, along with a core concentration in writing.
Nathaniel's first son, Alexander, was born in June 2002; and although he keeps the author quite busy, Nathaniel spends his free time working on the sequel to Revelation: Creatures Rule the Night. He hopes to complete it sometime within the next year.
